The delegation of the Bank of Abkhazia took part in the twelfth Hong Kong International Numismatic Fair HKINF, held in Hong Kong from June 21 to 23, 2024.

Over five years of successful operation, HKINF has become the largest numismatic event in Asia, bringing together auction houses, lending institutions and private collectors from around the world.

The Bank of Abkhazia regularly takes part in the largest international numismatic exhibitions, conferences and publishes in the main numismatic magazines in Europe, the USA, and Asia. The Asian direction is one of the most promising todays. This is the largest numismatic platform, which is rapidly developing, is characterized by high sales and is of great interest from the point of view of popularizing Abkhaz coins and banknotes. An article was published in the official catalog of the convention, which provides detailed characteristics of all four banknotes and talks about the emission activities of the National bank of the Republic of Abkhazia.

The exhibition presented new banknotes of the Bank of Abkhazia “Leopard” - 10 apsars and “Caucasian Red Deer” - 100 apsars. They were in great demand among collectors. Participation in the Hong Kong International Numismatic Exhibition and active work to popularize banknotes led to the fact that in two weeks from the date of issue, about two hundred thousand banknotes were sold worth more than 30 million rubles.
