At the invitation of the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia B.V. Baratelia, a delegation of the Bank of Russia headed by Deputy Chairman S.V. Belov. arrived in Abkhazia. The Russian delegation also included the head of the International Settlements Department S.V. Korosteleva, Head of the Corporate Affairs of the Department of Market Access and Activity Termination of Financial Institutions E.N. Dubinina and Economic Advisor of the Legal Department L.A. Grigorieva.

The Russian delegation and the Chairman of the Bank of Abkhazia were received by the President of the Republic of Abkhazia A.G. Bzhania.

As part of the negotiations held at the National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia, the parties agreed to develop fruitful and constructive cooperation. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation expressed its readiness to continue to provide support to the Bank of Abkhazia in the implementation of advanced banking technologies and strengthening the national banking system.
