This year, on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia, citizens of the Russian Federation actively used the cards of the Russian national payment system "Mir".
In 2020, transactions on over 1.2 billion rubles were made using Mir cards on the territory of Abkhazia, which is three times more than in 2019 (408 million rubles).
In the structure of transactions made by holders of Russian cards, cash withdrawal operations accounted for 69%, and transactions for payment for goods and services - 31%.
Also, the completion of the integration of the Mir and APRA payment systems allowed the citizens of Abkhazia to use APRA World payment cards outside the Republic of Abkhazia, including in the payment infrastructure of the Russian Federation.
The volume of transactions performed by APRA cardholders in 2020 in the Russian Federation amounted to 40 million rubles, which is 20 times higher than the indicator of the previous year (2 million rubles).
Holders of APRA "World" cards in 2020 made transactions in 170 cities of Russia.
