Obverse. In the upper central part on the mirror field there is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Abkhazia, under it the inscription in the Abkhaz language "Aҧсны Абанк", above the emblem in a semicircle is the denomination of the coin: 1 apsar. On the right side is the designation of the Moscow Mint. At the bottom of the coin there are relief inscriptions in small print " Aҧсны Абанк " in five lines and the year of minting "2025" in an indented font. |

Reverse. In the central part there is a copper coin of the ancient Dioscurias (a city located in the area of modern Sukhum) - a dikhalkos of the end of the 2nd - beginning of the 1st centuries BC. The central plot of the image is the caps of the Dioscuri brothers - mythical characters who participated in the campaign of the Argonauts for the "Golden Fleece". Above the caps there are six-pointed "Pontic" stars. The image of the coin is surrounded by a dotted ornament. |
