Obverse. In the upper central part of the mirror field is a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Abkhazia. Below it is the inscription "Аҧсны Абанк" (Abkhazian). Above the emblem is the denomination of the coin: 25 Apsars (Abkhazian abbreviation). On the right side is the Moscow Mint's designation. At the bottom of the coin are the small-font relief inscriptions "Aҧsny Abank" in five lines and the year of minting "2025" in recessed type.

Reverse. The central part depicts a copper coin of ancient Dioscurias (a city located in the area of modern-day Sukhumi) – a dikhalkos from the late 2nd - early 1st centuries BC. The central motif is the caps of the Dioscuri brothers – mythical figures who participated in the Argonauts' quest for the Golden Fleece. Above the caps are six-pointed "Pontic" stars. The coin is surrounded by a dotted ornament.
