The National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia announces the issue into circulation of a commemorative coin “Aleksandr Chachba”.
The commemorative coin “Aleksandr Chachba” is made of 925 silver, the diameter of the coin is 60 mm, weight 155.5 g., proof-like quality, denomination - 100 apsars.
The side surface of the coins is corrugated.
The coin belongs to the series “Outstanding personalities of Abkhazia”.
Catalogue number 0110100-012.
Circulation - 300 pcs.

The coin’s description
 Obverse. The obverse side of the coin bears the image of Aleksandr Chachba who is leaning on a walking stick against the background of a theatre curtain and two theatrical masks. There are inscriptions of the denomination of the coin “100 apsars”, the year of mintage 2018, the inscription “Apsny Abank” and the state emblem. |
 Reverse. On the reverse side of the coin, a self-portrait of Aleksandr Chachba is depicted using colour pad printing, as well as sketches of stage costumes, the artist’s name and the hats of the Dioscuri brothers, which is the heraldic symbol of the princes Shervashidze (Chachba). At the bottom right corner, the years of life are indicated. |
