The volume of transactions made through the payment infrastructure of the APRA National Payment System for the first quarter of 2021 increased by 22.3% or 782 million rubles, compared to the same period last year. Holders of bank cards on the territory of Abkhazia performed transactions totaling 4.29 billion rubles. In the structure of transactions, APRA cards account for 51.9%, MPS cards - 38.3%, and MIR cards - 9.8%.
The volume of transactions with russian bank cards at NPS APRA for the first quarter of 2021 increased by 774 million rubles (60.0%) compared to the same period last year and amounted to 2.063 billion rubles. Transactions totaling 419 million rubles, including "Mir" cards, were made since the beginning of the year, which is 283 million rubles (208.1%) higher than the same indicator of the previous year
According to the results of the first quarter of 2021, the volume of non-cash transactions for payment for goods and services by bank cards amounted to 930 million rubles, which exceeds the volume of non-cash transactions in the same period last year by 383 million rubles (70.0%). The growth in the indicator of non-cash transactions indicates that holders of bank cards in the territory of Abkhazia began to use cards more actively as a means of payment for goods, works and services.
Holders of Russian bank cards paid in the trade and service enterprises of the republic for a total amount of 860 million rubles, including the volume of non-cash transactions of Mir cardholders amounted to 151 million rubles, which exceeds the same indicator in 2020 by 109 million rubles (259.5%).
The amount of non-cash transactions with APRA cards for the reporting period of 2021 amounted to 70 million rubles, and compared to the same period last year increased by 36 million rubles (105.1%).
In the first quarter of 2021, holders of APRA World bank cards made transactions outside the Republic of Abkhazia in the amount of 10.57 million rubles, in the same period of 2020 this figure was 5.71 million rubles.
