In 2017, the Bank of Abkhazia issues a new series of commemorative investment coins “Tamgas” – family ancestral signs. Metal: silver with gold plating. The emission of ten coins is planned for 2017 on which the tamgas of ten most common last names will be depicted. The list of these last names has been provided by the Office of State Statistics of the Republic of Abkhazia: Agrba, Adleiba, Kvitsinia, Tarba, Avidzba, Bartsits, Djindjolia, Djopua, Arshba, Argun.

We invite you to participate in the creation of sketches of future coins.

Conditions:

1. On the reverse of the coin, the last name in Abkhazian language should be indicated, as well as the family ancestral sign (tamga).
2. The number of sketches – no more than 3 per coin.
3. The sketches will be accepted until 01.02.2017.
4. The sketches selected by the Board of the Bank of Abkhazia (by voting) will go through an obligatory process of voting and approval by the elders of the corresponding last names.
5. With authors, whose sketches have been approved, a copyright agreement will be signed and a reward in the amount of 50000 rubles will be paid.
