In a specialised magazine on coins and the monetary market “Zolotoy Chervonez” No. 41 (4), an article was published which was dedicated to a commemorative coin of Abkhazia “The New Athos Monastery”.

The article offers a detailed account of the history of the Orthodox Church of Abkhazia which provides wide opportunities for the popularisation of the numismatics in the state.
